Administering Juvéderm

At your scheduled appointment, the face is thoroughly cleansed and the targeted treatment areas are marked. A local anesthesia may be applied, but this is not always necessary as Juvéderm already contains a numbing solution within it. The filler is then injected directly into the skin with a fine needle. After each injection, light pressure and a cooling ointment are applied to the area. This technique is repeated until all marked areas have been injected. Other than feeling a tingling sensation and seeing some visible redness in the injection sites, there are typically no side effects. You will likely be able to return to your normal daily activities or work following your 15 to 30-minute Juvéderm procedure.

If the face looking back at you in the mirror has too many lines and unwanted wrinkles, Juvéderm injectable wrinkle filler may be the solution. A hyaluronic acid gel that is highly flexible, Juvéderm and can reduce or eliminate those lines and wrinkles, and restore a softer, more youthful appearance to the face. Using microneedles to gently inject the filler beneath the skin’s surface, skincare technicians perform Juvéderm treatments at the Anderson Plastic Surgery and MedSpa Fort Worth office. Results are typically seen immediately, last for up to a year, and require little to no downtime. It comes in a variety of formulations and is an effective choice for filling in small, vertical lines around the lips; deeper folds between your nose and mouth; forehead wrinkles; frown lines; smile folds; chin creases; lip wrinkles. If a more sculpted cheek or chin is what you hope for, or more voluminous lips, Juvéderm can help with these issues, too. Both men and women have enjoyed equally effective results from Juvéderm. A consultation with our skincare professionals is the best way to determine if Juvéderm is the right wrinkle filler for you.

They offer a terrific cosmetic solution for patients who want real results without the pain or expense of surgery. While hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvéderm are a great choice for many patients, other options may be more appropriate for your skin type in the quest for smoother, more youthful skin. Other fillers outside of the hyaluronic acid family include those comprised of collagen, calcium hydroxyapatite, and polylactic acid. During your consultation, we will discuss the latest modern fillers available, and will work to understand your aesthetic goals so that the best filler choice can be made.
