Cellfina Cellulite Treatment
What to Expect
Following Cellfina treatment, a compression garment will be provided to you to wear home. Icing the treated areas periodically for the subsequent 24 hours is strongly encouraged in an effort to minimize swelling and bruising. Exercise and other strenuous activity should be avoided for several days after treatment as a precaution. Soreness, tenderness and bruising are normal after effects, but these will subside with ice, rest, and time.

Surgical Technique
Cellfina is a relatively short cellulite treatment procedure which takes less than one hour to complete. It is performed by a physician in an office setting and does not require anesthesia.
After cellulite dimples are marked, a local numbing agent is used on each location. The fibrous connective bands beneath the skin of each dimple are severed with a small needle one at a time. Upon completion of treatment, patients are permitted to engage in activity as tolerated, though a period of rest is suggested.
What is Cellfina?
Cellfina is an FDA-approved, minimally-invasive cellulite treatment performed at Anderson Plastic Surgery in Fort Worth, clinically proven to minimize the appearance of cellulite for at least three years.
Fibrous connective bands under your skin pull on the skin from the inside, creating unpleasant dimpling. Cellfina treats the underlying structural cause of cellulite by releasing these connective bands. Skin then bounces back with a smooth, firm look. By treating the underlying structural cause of cellulite, patients achieve a positive result in as little as three days. Skin appearance continues to improve with time, with 93 percent of patients reporting satisfaction after three years.
